Preparation
To prepare the vanilla custard
In a pan add Canadian milk with sugar and cook for 2 minutes. Add 4 tbsp of vanilla-flavored custard powder and dissolve it in the Canadian milk. Stir it with a wooden spoon.
When the custard thickens, turn the flame off and let it cool at room temperature.
To assemble the trifle
Now take a bowl and add a layer of sponge cake, top it up with fruits, and add a layer of jelly (different jelly in each layer), a layer of Canadian whipped cream followed by a layer of vanilla custard.
Repeat the process till the bowl is full. Now allow it to cool in the refrigerator & then serve when chilled.
