The U.S. exported CAD $887.5 million worth of dairy products to Canada in 2024, while importing $357.9 million worth from Canada. This trade balance is in the advantage of the United States.
Both countries use tariff-rate quotas (TRQ) to trade many dairy products under the terms of the trade agreement between Canada, United States and Mexico (CUSMA).
