Baguette Stuffed with Bolognese Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 large baguette bread
- 2 cups (500 mL) grated Canadian Mozzarella cheese
- Grated Canadian Parmesan cheese
- Bolognese Sauce
- 3 garlic cloves finely chopped
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) olive oil
- 1 1/3 lb (600 g) lean ground beef
- 1 can (19 oz/540 mL) tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) Italian seasonings
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) steak spices
- 1/4 tsp (1 mL) crushed hot pepper
- Freshly ground pepper to taste

Preparation
Preheat oven to 400 °F (200 °C).
Cut baguette in half, lengthwise and cut each piece of bread in half. Remove crumb and fill with very hot Bolognese Sauce. Sprinkle with Canadian Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 5 to 8 minutes and grill under oven broiler for 1 to 2 minutes until cheese is golden brown. Remove from oven and serve one piece of grilled baguette per person with Caesar salad.
Bolognese Sauce:
In saucepan, sauté garlic in oil for 1 minute. Add ground beef and brown for 5 to 7 minutes while stirring. Drain off fat. Add remaining ingredients. Season to taste with pepper. Mix well and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens, about 20 minutes. Adjust seasonings, if necessary.
