- 1 frozen ripe banana broken into chunks
- 2 tsp (10 mL) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 cups (500 mL) chocolate milk
- 1/2 tsp (2 mL) vanilla extract
In a blender, purée frozen ripe banana, cocoa powder, chocolate milk and vanilla until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses and serve immediately.
For the best flavour, use ripe bananas that are yellow with brown spots. As they ripen, peel them, then seal in a freezer bag and store in the freezer to make these shakes.
