Easy Apple Raisin Cake

Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups (875 mL) all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) packed brown sugar
- 2 tsp (10 mL) ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp (10 mL) baking soda
- 1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt
- 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) unsweetened apple sauce
- 1 cup (250 mL) Milk
- 2/3 cup (160 mL) butter melted
- 2 tsp (10 mL) fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup (250 mL) golden raisins
- Icing sugar

Preparation
In 13 x 9-inch (33 x 23 cm) unbuttered rectangular cake pan stir together flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Add apple sauce, milk, melted butter and lemon juice all at once. Beat with a fork until well combined. Stir in raisins. Spread batter evenly in pan.
Bake in preheated 350 °F (180 °C) oven 45 to 50 min or until wooden pick inserted in centre comes out clean. Cool.
Dust with icing sugar and cut into squares.
