Grilled Cheese Max

Yields 1 sandwich
Grilled Cheese Max


  • 2 slices of your bread of choice
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) Canadian milk
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) shredded Canadian marble cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) Canadian butter
  • ½ an avocado sliced or mashed
  • ¼ Tomato sliced
  • Salt to taste

Start by shredding the Canadian marble cheddar cheese, slicing the tomato and avocado. Set aside.

Next, whisk the egg with Canadian milk. Add the mixture to a non-stick pan on medium heat and scramble for 1 minute. Remove from the pan.

Next, butter two slices of bread using half your Canadian butter and layer with Canadian marble cheddar cheese, tomato, avocado and the scrambled egg.

Add the remaining Canadian butter to the same non-stick pan used to scramble the egg and heat on medium heat. Once the butter is melted, use a spatula to place the grilled cheese max into the pan.

Cook for about 3 minutes (until bread is well toasted). Carefully use the spatula to flip the sandwich and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

Once cheese is melted, it’s ready to enjoy.
