Ingredients
- 3 cups (750 mL) Milk
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) sugar
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) cocoa powder
- of salt
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) 10 % cream
- 1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla extract

In a saucepan, heat milk just to steaming, stirring often. Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine sugar, cocoa powder and salt. Beat in cream and vanilla extract to obtain a smooth dough. Reduce to medium-low heat and gradually whisk in cocoa and milk mixture. Mix well. Heat approximately 2 minutes, or until mixture is steaming. Pour hot chocolate into mugs. Serve immediately if kids prefer it hot, or let cool.
