Ingredients

  • 1 portion Freezer Cheddar Beef Sauce* thawed
  • 1 can (5 1/2 oz /156 mL) tomato paste
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) dried oregano
  • 8 lasagna pasta cooked, drained
  • 1 pkg (6 1/2 oz/ 200 g) Canadian Mozzarella cheese slices
  • 1 cup (250 mL) Canadian Cottage cheese
  • Grated Canadian Parmesan cheese

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 °F (190 °C).

In large bowl, combine Freezer Cheddar Beef Sauce, tomato paste and oregano. Spread a thin layer of meat sauce over bottom of a 8-cup (2 L) shallow rectangular baking dish.

Layer half the lasagna, half the remaining sauce, all the Canadian Cottage cheese and half the Canadian Mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.

Sprinkle with Canadian Parmesan cheese. Bake 35 minutes or until heated through.
