Mini Chocolate & Brownie Mousse

Ingredients

  • 2/3 c. (160 ml) Canadian heavy whipping cream
  • 1/6 c. (40 ml) Canadian sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 oz. milk or semi-sweet chocolate
  • 2-4 small cubes of brownie
  • Cocoa powder
  • For topping: Canadian whipped cream

Preparation

Whip all the whipping cream with the condensed milk. Melt the chocolate in the microwave.

Prepare a ganache by adding 2/3 cup of the whipping cream and condensed milk mixture to the melted chocolate in a bowl. Mix well and set aside. This will be the 1rst and 3rd layers.

In another bowl, pour the rest of the whipping cream and condensed milk mixture. This is the second layer.

Assembler

In small verrines or mini Mason jars, start with the brownie layer, then assemble the three layers in order (chocolate, cream, chocolate).

Chill in the fridge for 2 to 3 hours.

Just before serving, top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cocoa powder.
