Sour Cream White Pizza
There's nothing more delectable than a white pizza! Our Sour Cream and Canadian Cheese Pizza recipe will get you hooked! The perfect recipe for a quick and delicious weekday meal (PS: if you don't have the time to make your own pizza dough, the store-bought pizza dough will save you time).

Ingredients
- Pizza Dough :
- 250 ml (1 cup) warm Canadian milk (about 105°F / 40°C)
- 5 ml (1 teaspoon) instant yeast
- 5 ml (1 teaspoon) sugar
- 300 g (2 cups) unbleached all-purpose flour
- 5 ml (1 teaspoon) salt
- Pizza Sauce and Toppings:
- 1/3 cup (75 g) Canadian sour cream
- 1 cup (200 g) grated Canadian Parmesan cheese
- 2 fresh Canadian mozzarella balls
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 sprig of fresh basil for garnish or chopped parsley
- Pepper to taste

Preparation
Pizza Dough :
Combine warm milk, yeast and sugar in a glass or a bowl. Leave to rise for about 5 minutes (until the mixture starts to foam on top). Ensure the milk isn't too hot, because it may kill the yeast.
In a large bowl, pour the dry ingredients and form a well in the flour and salt.
Pour the liquid ingredients into the center of the well. Work the dough into a soft, smooth consistency.
Form the dough into a ball and place in a lightly oiled bowl. Cover with a clean cloth and leave to rise for 30 minutes in a warm, damp place.
Tip: turn on the oven light, add a bowl of water and leave the dough to rise.
Sauce and toppings :
Once the dough has risen and been removed from the oven, preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Divide into two balls and form two pizza bases about 20 cm (8 in.) in diameter and 1 cm (1/2 in.) thick. Place on baking sheet.
Peel and crush garlic cloves.
Place the sour cream, crushed garlic, pinch of pepper and grated Parmesan in a bowl and mix well. Cut mozzarella into thin slices.
Spread the sour cream mixture over the pizzas with the back of a spoon.
Top with mozzarella and bake until cheese is melted and crust is golden (15-20 minutes).
Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves or chopped parsley.

Tips
If you don't have the time to make your own pizza dough, store-bought dough will do the job just fine.
For an extra touch of flavour and freshness, add lemon zest and pesto before serving.
