  • June 1st is World Milk Day. Cheers!
  • 75% of Canadians believe the Canadian government should defend our dairy industry in NAFTA renegotiations.

The survey published by IPSOS in May shows that 75% of people believe the dairy industry should be defended and 90% of people agree that products coming in to Canada should meet the same standards as our Canadian dairy products. We have also seen the publishing of a report by Export Action Global, which shows the value of the Canadian dairy supply management system. Whether you are a dairy farmer or consumer, raising a glass to milk allows for connection and celebration of the goodness of milk. Milk is a nutritious and delicious product containing up to 16 essential nutrients! As a dairy farmer, I am proud of what we produce and as a father, I am proud to serve Canadian dairy products on my own table.

Happy World Milk Day – Cheers!

World Milk Day was established by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations with purpose to recognize the importance of milk as a global food.
