Mango Float

This is a no-bake Filipino dessert… called MANGO FLOAT!

Ingredients

  • 5 ripe mangoes
  • 4 cups Canadian heavy cream, chilled overnight
  • 1 can Canadian condensed milk, chilled overnight
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 21 graham cracker, plus some crushed, for topping

Preparation

Peel and thinly slice 5 ripe mangoes - set aside

Add 2 cups of Canadian heavy cream to a large bowl and mix with either an electric hand mixer or by hand (medium/high speed) until stiff peaks form

Add the remaining 2 cups of Canadian heavy cream and beat until stiff peaks form

Add in half of the Canadian condensed milk and mix in together with the cream

Add the remainder of the condensed milk, some salt and mix again until peaks form!

Cover the bottom of the 7 x 11 inch chilled glass pan with graham crackers, filling in any gaps!

Evenly spread 2-3 cups of the whipped cream you created on top of graham crackers

Repeat layering until dish is filled to the top

For Final layer add graham crackers on top of mangos, then add 2 -3 cups of whipped cream, with sliced mangoes on top

Sprinkle crushed graham crackers and cover with plastic wrap

Put it in the refrigerator overnight or for at least 4-6 hours and then transfer to the freezer overnight

Let it thaw the next morning for 10 minutes and enjoy!
