Making ice cream has never been so easy, and as shown in this video, all it takes is 1 ingredient! It’s also a great activity to do with your kids. They'll want to do it again and again.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (250 mL) chocolate milk
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) salt
  • Ice cubes
  • 2 resealable plastic bags (1 large and 1 small)
  • Oven mitts

Preparation

Fill half the large plastic bag with ice cubes. Add salt. Mix Pour the chocolate milk into the small plastic bag and seal well. Place the bag into the large bag of ice cubes. Seal the large bag well. Using the oven mitts, shake the bag for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, the ice cream will be ready! Wipe the bag. Transfer ice cream to a bowl. Add your favourite garnish, e.g. chocolate or caramel chips, nuts, candy, and voilà - ice cream!A fun recipe to make with your kids!
