Pizza Primavera with Three Cheeses

This is the Pizza Primavera with Three Cheeses recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 to 2 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) olive oil
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) fresh oregano or fresh basil chopped
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 pre-cooked (16-in/40 cm) pizza crust
  • 2 cups (500 mL) your choice of vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, peppers, mushrooms, onion, spinach, asparagus etc.) blanched sautéed or grilled
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) green olives or black olives sliced
  • 1 to 2 tomatoes sliced
  • 1 cup (250 mL) Canadian Friulano grated
  • 1 cup (250 mL) Canadian Sharp Provolone grated
  • 1/2 cup (125 L) Canadian Asiago grated

Preparation

Preheat oven to 450 °F(230 °C).

Combine oil, garlic and herb, season generously. Pour this mixture onto pizza crust. Top with chosen vegetables, olives and tomatoes.

In a bowl, mix cheeses. Cover pizza with cheeses and cook in centre of oven for 7 to 10 minutes or until they are golden brown.

Serve immediately with a salad.
