Ralph Dietrich, a dairy farmer from Mildmay Ontario, was appointed to the DFC executive in July 2017. He has been a DFC board member since 2014 and was previously active on the DFC Audit and Finance Committee.

Ralph Dietrich was elected in 2011 to represent dairy farmers in the counties of Bruce and Grey on the Dairy Farmers of Ontario (DFO) board, and previously served as director and chair of Gay Lea Co-operative. He is currently the Chairman of DFO and also a member of the Canadian Milk Supply Management Committee and the P5 Supervisory Body.

Mr. Dietrich and his wife Jayne, along with one of their sons and son-in-law, operate Character Dairy Genetics, milking 160 cows on their farm.
