Baked Brie with fig jam and pistachio

Enjoy some nutty and deliciously gooey Canadian cheese with the terrific taste of fruity fig and the spectacular spice of a gingerbread crisps, guaranteed to satisfy your sweet tooth!

Baked Brie with fig jam and pistachio

Ingredients

  • 1 wheel (250g) of Canadian Brie
  • 3 tbsp (45 ml) fig jam
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) shelled pistachios, chopped
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) honey (optional, for drizzling)
  • Store-bought gingerbread crisps (for serving)

Preparation

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Place the Brie on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Using a sharp knife, cut shallow lines in a crosshatch pattern across the top of the Brie (be careful not to cut all the way through).

Spread the fig jam over the top, allowing it to seep into the cuts, then sprinkle with chopped pistachios.

Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the Brie is warm and gooey.

Drizzle honey over the baked Brie if desired, then transfer to a serving platter.

Serve with gingerbread crisps
