Ingredients

  • 1 can (300 ml) of Canadian sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can (170 ml) of Canadian thick cream 25%
  • 1 can (354 ml) of Canadian evaporated milk
  • 1 container (340 ml) of nata de coco (coconut gel)
  • 1 pack (16 oz) of shredded young coconut
  • 2 cups of cooked sago pearls
  • 1-2 teaspoons of buko pandan flavor

Preparation

Boil sago pearls (It is fully cooked when the sago is all translucent and has no white in center)

Strain and rinse them under cold running water a few times to remove any residual starch

In a large mixing bowl, put the buko (shredded young coconut), nata de coco (coconut gel), cooked sago pearls, sweetened condensed milk, thick cream and evaporated milk

Add 1-2 tablespoon of buko pandan flavor (this will enrich the flavour of the dessert)

Mix all the ingredients together and chill for at least an hour before serving
