Add room temperature Canadian butter into a mixing bowl.

Add honey, lime juice and zest, habanero, chives, garlic, salt and pepper to Canadian butter, and mix until well combined.

Cut a small hole at the bottom of a paper or plastic cup, and feed the edible candle wick through the cup hole until the sustainer meets the underside of the cup.

Fill the cup with the butter mixture, making sure the wick is centered.

Refrigerate the cup until butter is firm.

Cut the paper cup off the candle and place on a serving plate of your choice. Trim the wick if needed

Light the candle, dip your baguette (or other sides of your choice) into the melted honey habanero butter, and enjoy!

This Honey Habanero compound butter recipe, can also be served at room temperature, without being moulded into a candle.
