Canadian Butter Board

Take your next gathering to the next level with this decadent butter board with four different flavours and toppings.

Ingredients

  • Tarragon Lemon Butter
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) Canadian butter, room temperature
  • 7.5 ml (1.5 tsp) chopped tarragon
  • 7.5 ml (1.5 tsp) lemon juice
  • Toppings: Lemon Zest, Chopped Walnuts, Figs/Dates, Finely Chopped Herbs
  • Chili Lime Butter
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) Canadian butter, room temperature
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) chili powder
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) lime juice
  • Toppings: Sea Salt, Parsley, Lime Juice, Chili Flakes
  • Fresh Herb Butter
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) Canadian butter, room temperature
  • 7.5 ml (1.5 tsp) fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) fresh basil, finely chopped
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • Toppings: Salt, Lemon Zest, Truffle Honey
  • Garlic Parmesan Butter
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) Canadian butter, room temperature
  • 7.5 ml (1.5 tsp) chopped garlic
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) Canadian parmesan, grated
  • Toppings: Honey, Rosemary, Thinly Sliced Pear

Preparation

For each flavoured butter variation:

Add all ingredients (except for toppings) to a blender and whip on high speed until smooth & fluffy.

To build the butter board:

Spread each one of the flavoured butters onto a board or serving dish.

Garnish each with its specified toppings.

Serve with a side of warm sourdough bread and crackers.
