Cheese stuffed celery sticks
You can't go wrong with this classic, made even better with Canadian Cheddar cheese.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) shredded Canadian Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) Canadian Cream cheese softened
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) dried cranberries or raisins
- 3 large stalks celery
- Pepper to taste

Preparation
In a bowl, using a spoon, mash shredded cheese and cream cheese until blended. Stir in raisins.
Pat celery dry and cut each stalk crosswise into four pieces, each about 3 inches (7 1/2 cm) long. Spoon cheese mixture evenly into hollow of each celery stick, packing lightly.
Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
Tips
Use your favourite shredded Canadian cheese in place of the Cheddar. Try Brick, Mozzarella or Monterey Jack.
