Chocolate Angel Cakes with Candy Cane Cream

The Holidays are a perfect time to pamper your family with tasty treats. Why not prepare these adorable mini cakes, all dressed up for the occasion! Imagine chocolate cakes filled with candy cane-flavoured whipped cream! The kids will be in heaven.

  • 1 1/4 cups (300 mL) Canadian heavy cream (35%)
  • 1 tbsp icing sugar
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) crushed candy canes
  • 12 medium chocolate cupcakes made from your favourite recipe

Whip the cream. Fold in icing sugar and crushed candy canes.

Cut the tops out of the cupcakes; cut each top in half. Fill the holes in the cupcakes with candy cane cream. Insert two halves of tops into each cupcake to form wings
