Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup (80 mL) Canadian Cream cheese
  • 5 oz (150 g) smoked salmon chopped
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) sour cream
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) chopped fresh dill
  • Juice of one half lemon
  • Pepper to taste
  • 25-30 crackers or small rusks
  • Capers or fish eggs

Preparation

In bowl, mix Canadian Cream cheese with salmon, sour cream, fennel and lemon juice. Season to taste with pepper. Spread each cracker with smoked salmon mixture.

Garnish each canapé with one caper and arrange on serving dish. Serve immediately or refrigerate.
