Crispy Chocolate Peanut Squares

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) butter
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) cocoa powder
- 1 cup (250 mL) peanut butter
- 3/4 cup (180 mL) liquid honey
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) sugar
- 3 cups (750 mL) crisp rice cereal
- 2 cups (500 mL) peanuts chopped
- 1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla extract

Preparation
In large saucepan, melt butter; stir in cocoa. Add peanut butter, honey and sugar. Cook and stir over medium heat until hot and smooth. Remove from heat. Add cereal, nuts and vanilla extract; stir until well-combined.
Press lightly into ungreased 9 inch (23 cm) square baking pan. Chill 2 hours or until set. Cut into squares. Store covered in refrigerator.
