Ingredients
- 2 store-bought croissants
- Cookie dough
- 1/2 cup (100 g) Canadian butter, softened
- 1/3 cup (80 g) white sugar
- 1/3 cup (50 g) brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 2/3 cups (200 g) flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) baking powder
- 1 cup (150 g) chocolate chips (dark or milk)

Preparation
Cookie dough
Preheat oven to 395°F (200°C).
Work the soft butter with the two sugars until smooth.
Add the egg and mix well.
Add sifted flour, salt and baking powder.
Mix again.
Add the chocolate chips and mix well.
Roll into small balls and set aside.
Crookie assembly
Cut croissants in half lengthwise (as if making a sandwich).
Evenly spread the cookie dough in and on top of the croissant. Close it to make a sandwich.
Line the oven tray with baking paper and place the stuffed croissants.
Bake in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
Leave to cool slightly and enjoy.
Tips
Try spreading the cookie dough as evenly as possible, to avoid one side being overcooked and the other raw.
