Easy, No-Roll Food Processor Pastry

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups (310 mL) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) cold hard butter diced
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) sugar
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) cold water
- 2 tsp (10 mL) white vinegar

Preparation
Preheat oven to 375 °F (190 °C).
In food processor, combine flour, butter and sugar; process using on/off turns until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add water and vinegar; process using on/off turns until mixture barely holds together. (Mixture sticks together when pressed between fingers.)
Turn into 9-inch (23 cm) tart pan or pie plate; spread evenly over bottom and up side, pressing firmly so mixture holds together. Refrigerate for 15 min.
Prick pastry all over with fork. Line with foil; cover with dried beans or pie weights. Bake for 20 min. Remove foil and beans; bake for 10 min longer or until golden.
