Fusilli Cheddar Bake

Ingredients
- 2 cups (500 mL) fusilli
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) butter melted
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) chopped green onions
- 1 can (10 oz/284 mL) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) Milk
- 2 cups (500 mL) shredded Canadian Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup (250 mL) cooked peas
- 1 cup (250 mL) carrots diced and cooked
- Buttered bread cubes

Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 °F (180 °C).
In large saucepan, cook fusilli according to package directions; drain.
In large saucepan, melt butter. Sauté onion until tender. Add soup. Gradually stir in milk. Add Canadian Cheddar cheese; cook and stir over low heat until cheese is melted.
Stir in fusilli, peas and carrots. Spoon into a 6-cup (1.5 L) shallow rectangular casserole. Sprinkle with buttered bread cubes. Bake 20 minutes or until heated through.
