Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) green beans trimmed
- 1 lb (450 g) wax beans trimmed
- 4 tbsp (60 mL) butter
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) nut oil
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) coarsely chopped nuts
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation
Steam, or boil in little water, green and wax beans, until tender-crisp. Drain, if necessary.
In saucepan, sauté beans in nut oil and butter over medium heat for 5 minutes. Season to taste. Stir in nuts and parsley. Serve immediately.
