Herbed Yogurt Sauce
This bewitching hot yogurt sauce livens up fish, vegetables and stews, while adding a scrumptious cocktail of bone-strengthening nutrients.

Ingredients
- 1 cup (250 mL) 2 % plain yogurt at room temperature
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) cornstarch
- 1 cup (250 mL) low-sodium chicken broth or vegetable broth
- 2 tsp (10 mL) butter
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tsp (5 mL) dried tarragon or dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation
Mix yogurt with cornstarch in a bowl until blended. Slowly stir in broth. In heavy saucepan at medium-low heat, melt butter. Then add garlic and herbs and sauté about 30 seconds.
Remove from heat. Add yogurt mixture, stirring. Return to heat and cook 5,6 minutes, stirring constantly until sauce thickens. Be careful not to boil. Season and serve.
