Hot Honey Halloumi Flatbread Wrap
Awaken your taste buds with this spicy and sweet halloumi cheese wrap. This simple and tasty recipe contains all the ingredients for a perfect wrap!

Ingredients
- 1 2/3 cup (210 g) Canadian halloumi cheese
- 2 teaspoons (30 g) Canadian butter
- 3 tablespoons (40 ml) spicy oil
- 3 tablespoons (40 ml) honey
- 90 g tzatziki
- 3 pita bread
- 3 handful of pomegranate seeds
- 3 pinch fresh coriander
- Red onion to taste, thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoon (45 ml) chopped spring onion

Preparation
Cut the halloumi into 1 cm-thick slices.
In a frying pan, melt the butter over a medium heat. Add the halloumi slices and fry on both sides until golden brown and slightly crispy.
Once the halloumi slices are golden, add the spicy oil to the pan. Pour the honey and toss gently to coat the cheese with the sweet and spicy sauce. Remove the pan from the heat and set aside.
Lightly heat the pita breads.
Spread a generous layer of tzatziki on the pitas.
Add a few slices of grilled halloumi on top of the tzatziki. Sprinkle with pomegranate seeds to add a touch of freshness and crunch, followed by a few fresh coriander leaves, red onion slices and chopped spring onions.
Fold or roll the pitas as you prefer.
Serve immediately. Enjoy your meal!
