''La Scala'' Chopped Salad with Creamy Dressing in a Mason Jar
La Scala Chopped Salad is made with crisp lettuce, salami, provolone cheese and a creamy dressing. This recipe has gone viral for good reason: it's fresh, crunchy, hearty and oh-so-delicious! Make it ahead for weekday lunches.

Ingredients
- Creamy Greek yogurt sauce
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) plain Canadian Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup (50 ml) mustard
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) lemon juice
- 1/4 cup (50 ml) olive oil
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) honey
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) salt
- Chopped Salad
- 8 ounces (225 g) chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- 1 1/4 cups (140 g) Italian salami, diced
- 1 cup (100 g) Canadian Provolone cheese, cut into 1/4-inch cubes
- 6 cherry tomatoes, diced
- 3 cups Romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1 tablespoon (15 g) Canadian Parmesan cheese

Preparation
In a bowl, combine all the ingredients for the creamy dressing and mix well.
Pour the sauce evenly into the two Mason jars.
Add in layers: chickpeas, salami, provolone and tomatoes. Top with romaine lettuce.
Keep refrigerated until ready to eat.
Mix well and serve on a plate. Sprinkle with Parmesan and enjoy!
