Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) beef cubed
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) butter or vegetable oil
- 1 small red onion chopped
- Water
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) dehydrated beef broth
- 1/3 cup (80 mL) tomato paste
- 2 tsp (10 mL) dry mustard
- 8-10 mushrooms sliced
- 1/2 tsp (2 mL) dried oregano
- 1 tsp (5 mL) dried parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) plain yogurt

Preparation
In a large saucepan, cook onion in butter or oil. Brown cubed beef. Cover beef with water. Cook, uncovered, at medium heat, 60 to 90 minutes.
Stir in all other ingredients, except yogurt. Simmer for about 30 minutes. Stir in yogurt. Serve on a bed or rice.
