This is the Macaroni and Cheese recipe.

- 2 tbsp (30 mL) butter
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) finely chopped green onions
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) flour
- 2 cups (500 mL) Milk
- 2 cups (500 mL) macaroni
- 1 cup (250 mL) shredded Canadian Cheddar
- 1 cup (250 mL) shredded Canadian Colby
- 1 cup (250 mL) shredded Canadian Emmental
- of tumeric
- Salt and pepper to taste
In a medium sauce pan, melt butter and cook green onions 3,4 min.until soft. Stir in flour and cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly. Gradually add milk and cook until sauce thickens about 5 minutes.
Cook macaroni according to directions on package until 'al dente.' Drain and mix into sauce. Add cheese and tumeric and stir until cheese is melted. Salt and pepper totaste. Serve immediately.
