Matcha and White Chocolate Panna Cotta

There's nothing more refreshing than a classic Panna Cotta! Enjoy the earthy taste of Matcha tea and the creamy goodness of white chocolate. Served with granola and berries, this dessert is a must.

Matcha and White Chocolate Panna Cotta

Ingredients

  • Panna Cotta preparation
  • 1 1/2 cups (400 ml) 15% Canadian country-style cream
  • 1/2 cup (100 g) sugar
  • 2 teaspoons (10 ml) Matcha powder
  • 1 cup (150 g) white chocolate, coarsely chopped or shaved
  • ½ pouch gelatin powder
  • Decoration
  • Shaved white chocolate
  • Berries
  • 2 teaspoons (10 ml) granola

Preparation

Panna Cotta:

Over medium-low heat, warm the cream, sugar and matcha until simmering. The sugar should be well dissolved.

Remove from heat, add white chocolate and allow to melt gradually. Mix well.

Prepare gelatin according to package instructions in 1/4 cup (50 ml) boiling water, stir well.

Add gelatin to the cream and whisk to combine.

Strain through a sieve to remove any lumps.

Assembly:

Pour the mixture into the cups and cover with cling film.

Chill for about 3h.

Decorate with granola, berries and grated white chocolate.
