Ingredients
- 100% Canadian butter (to coat the slow cooker)
- 1 cup (250 ml) steel-cut oats
- 2 1/2 cups (625 ml) water
- 1 1/2 cups (380 ml) 100% Canadian milk
- 1 cup (250 ml) pumpkin puree
- 3 tbsp (90 ml) maple syrup
- 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla
- 1 tsp (5 ml) cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp (1 ml) salt
- Approx 1 cup (250 ml) 100% Canadian Greek yogurt, to taste
- Pecans, maple syrup, and fruit for serving (optional)

Preparation
Coat the slow cooker with butter.
Add all ingredients and mix well.
Cook on "low" for 6 to 8 hours.
When ready to eat, add Greek yogurt and stir well, as the oats tend to settle.
Serve with pecans, seasonal fruits, a bit of maple syrup... and enjoy.
Tips
If your slow cooker is programmable, cook for 7 hours then keep on "warm" until you're ready for breakfast.
