A childhood classic revisited! Remember the homely taste of the cinnamon buns your parents used to bake for you when you were little? Now imagine them even softer and more indulgent! This viral Tiktok hack recipe combines the nostalgic taste of store-bought cinnamon rolls with Canadian heavy cream, for a gourmet, ultra-soft treat!

Ingredients

  • 2 packages of store-bought Cinnamon Roll dough
  • 4 oz (150 g) Canadian whipping cream
  • 1 stick (125 g) Canadian unsalted butter, melted
  • ⅔ cup (120 g) brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) cinnamon

Preparation

Place cinnamon buns in a buttered baking dish (13 x 9 in).

Pour heavy whipping cream over buns to cover the bottom with about 1 cm (1/4 in) layer.

Mix melted butter, brown sugar and cinnamon until smooth. Pour over buns.

Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.

Cool for 10 minutes. Pour the included glaze on the buns and serve.
