Swiss Lemon Poppy Seed Bagels

Yields 2 bagels

  • 2 poppy seed bagels
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) butter
  • 4 oz (125 g) Canadian Swiss* cheese sliced
  • 1/3 cup (80 mL) lemon spread or lemon marmalade


Cut each bagel crosswise in half. Toast bagel halves; butter each half. Top with Canadian Swiss cheese and serve with lemon spread.


* For a change of taste use Canadian Havarti or Canadian Cream cheese.
