This is the Tiramisu truffles recipe.

- 8 oz (225 g) milk chocolate finely chopped
- 1/3 cup (75 mL) 35% whipping cream
- 1 cup (250 mL) Canadian Mascarpone at room temperature
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) coffee liqueur
- 6 ladyfinger biscuits
- Icing sugar to taste
In a saucepan over very low heat, melt chocolate with cream, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Scrape into a medium bowl and stir in Mascarpone until it is completely blended. Stir in coffee liqueur.
Refrigerate, uncovered until quite firm, 3–4 hours. Meanwhile, using a food processor, process ladyfingers into coarse crumbs. Place crumbs on a plate.
Scoop out about 1 tbsp (15 mL) chocolate mixture and roll into a ball measuring about 1˝ (2.5 cm). Roll in crumbs, then place on a baking sheet. Repeat. Refrigerate until ready to enjoy.
The coffee liqueur may be substituted by 2 tsp (10 mL) instant coffee granules dissolved in 1 tbsp (15 mL) water.
