Ingredients

  • 10 to 12 oz (330 g to 360 g) veal scallops
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) Macadamia nuts finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) butter
  • 2 kiwis peeled and sliced
  • Sour cream

Preparation

Place veal scallops between wax paper sheets and flatten with meat mallet. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Dip scallops in egg and coat with Macadamia nuts.

In skillet, heat oil and butter and sauté scallops over medium-high for 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels for 2 minutes.

Serve veal with kiwis slices, sour cream and vegetable medley. Garnish with Macadamia nuts.
