Preparation
In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and vanilla yogurt.
Start by mixing with a silicone spatula, then coat your hands generously with vegetable oil and knead the dough until it forms a soft, elastic ball.
Divide the dough into 4 equal balls. Oil your hands again with vegetable oil and rub each ball with oil to smooth the edges.
Press your thumb into the centre of each ball of dough to form the donut hole, and rotate to make it as large as possible. The hole will shrink considerably during cooking, so make it as large as possible.
Grease the basket of the air fryer with spray oil and place 4 donuts in the basket, away from each other. Spray the donuts with oil.
Fry the batch at 350°F (180°C) for 7-9 minutes or until they puff up, turn golden and dry out. They should look like little bagels.
Meanwhile, fill a bowl with sugar and cinnamon. Mix well. Set aside. In another bowl, add the butter and melt in the microwave for 20 seconds at a time. Set aside at room temperature.
Remove the cooked donuts from the fryer and place on a cooling rack.
Immediately brush with melted butter, then roll in a bowl filled with cinnamon and sugar.
Tips
Tip: you can use a shot glass to make the donut hole.
