Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of French cheese bread*
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) mustard
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) sour cream
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) chopped chives
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 2 lettuce leaves shredded
  • Freshly ground pepper to taste
  • 4 slices cold roast pork**

Preparation

Cut the bread into eight pieces; slice each piece in half lengthwise. Mix together mustard, sour cream and chives and spread on bread.

Add tomato slices and shredded lettuce. Season with pepper. Cut pork slices in half and add. Sandwich bread together.

*French cheese bread is a small loaf usually made with Canadian-Swiss. You may also use an Italian loaf.
