Party Cheese Ball

Ingredients
- 12 slices bacon very finely chopped
- 3 cups (750 mL) shredded Canadian Cheddar cheese
- 1 pkg (125 g) Canadian Cream cheese softened
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) chopped nuts
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) chopped parsley

Preparation
Cook bacon until crisp; drain well reserving 2 tbsp (30 mL) drippings. Mix Canadian Cheddar and Canadian Cream cheese. Add reserved bacon drippings. Stir in cooked bacon bits.
Shape into a ball; roll in chopped nuts and parsley. Wrap and chill several hours or overnight to blend flavours. Let stand at room temperature 1 hour before serving.
Tips
Use an electric mixer or food processor to mix cheese.
