Swiss Fondue Bake
This recipe is taken from the 1975 Milk Calendar. This is the Swiss Fondue Bake recipe.

Ingredients
- 1 Slice of white bread
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) shredded Canadian Swiss cheese
- 1 egg well beaten
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) Milk
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) chopped green onion
- 3 slices cooked bacon crumbled
- 1/4 tsp (1 mL) salt

Preparation
Place bread in bottom of small baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese.
Combine egg, milk, onion, bacon and salt. Pour over cheese. Cover and chill 30 minutes or overnight.
Bake in 350 °F (180 °C) oven 20 to 25 minutes or until set and puffy.
