Cheesy Buffalo Chicken Dip 

Simple yet sophisticated, this creamy, kicky dip is perfect for entertaining friends and family or for cheering on your favourite team on TV.

Cheesy Buffalo Chicken Dip 


  • 2 cups (500 mL) shredded cooked chicken
  • ¾ cup (175 mL) hot sauce
  • 2 pkgs (each 8 oz/250 g) brick-style Canadian cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup (250 mL) ranch dressing
  • 1 ½ cups (375 mL) shredded Canadian Cheddar cheese, divided
  • A mix of sliced fresh vegetables (such as celery, carrots, bell peppers) and/or corn chips, for dipping

In large skillet set over medium heat, stir together chicken and hot sauce. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 to 5 minutes or until heated through.

Stir in cream cheese and ranch dressing. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 to 5 minutes or until blended and warm. Stir in half the Cheddar. Transfer to slow cooker. Sprinkle with remaining Cheddar. 

Cover and cook on LOW for 30 to 35 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

Serve with vegetables and/or chips.
