Cream Soup
An easy and delicious soup with a velvety texture and a creamy smoothness.

Ingredients
- 1 small onion diced
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) butter
- 2 cups (500 mL) veggies chopped
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) all-purpose flour
- 4 cups (1 L) reduced-sodium soup broth
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) 15 % cream or 18 % cream

Preparation
In butter, sauté onion and then toss in your favourite veggies. Add flour and chicken broth.
Bring everything to a boil and simmer 20 to 30 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Blend it all together. Then gently ladle in cream to give it a silky smooth texture.
