- 2 1/4 lb (1 kg) veal chopped
- 1/2 red onion chopped
- 1 tsp (5 mL) dried thyme
- 2 tsp (10 mL) salt
- 1 tsp (5 mL) pepper
- Water
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) Dijon mustard
- 3 tbsp (45 mL) tomato paste
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) Canadian sour cream

Preparation
In saucepan, combine chopped veal, onion, thyme, salt and pepper. Cover one and half times with water. Cook, uncovered, approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours at medium heat. Stir in Dijon mustard, tomato paste and sour cream. Serve with crackers.
