Preparation

What adults can prepare:

Cut tomatoes in two lengthwise, then scoop out halves (using a spoon, remove centre part where seeds are).

Slice cucumber into rounds approximately ½ centimetres thick.

Peel mango, then cut in two. Take one of the mango halves and cut in strips.

What children can do:

Cut cucumber and mango slices into small cubes. Put these in a bowl.

Using scissors or fingers, cut or tear sweet basil into small pieces. Add this to mixture.

Measure yogurt and pour into bowl.

Add a pinch each of salt and pepper to mixture.

Mix all ingredients.

Stuff tomato halves with mixture.

Serve.

Enjoy!

Tips

Variations: Replace mango with tomatoes and cucumber with blanched celery, and you now have a colourful mixture to stuff pear halves!
