Dessert-Style Italian Cappuccino Recipe

Try this dessert-style take on the classic cappuccino, with sugar, cinnamon, and chocolate. You can make it in a blender – no espresso machine required. This recipe is taken from the 1988 Milk Calendar.

Italian cappuccino in a glass cup

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (250 mL) hot Milk
  • 1 cup (250 mL) hot espresso or strong coffee
  • 2 tsp (10 mL) sugar
  • of ground cinnamon
  • Grated semi-sweet chocolate

Preparation

Combine hot milk, hot coffee, sugar and cinnamon in a blender container. Cover and blend at high speed for 10 sec or until frothy.

Pour into cups and sprinkle with chocolate. Serve immediately.
